Approaching the town centre

While approaching the town centre, we cross the bridge of the flood protection system constructed with Austrian-Hungarian cooperation along the Lahn brook using European Union subsidies. Continuing our journey, we can see the facilities of the industrial park spreading over the border Szentgotthárd-Heiligenkreuz. A bike lane, following the track of the former Iron Curtain, runs alongside the road.
